To 2055 Pte J. Walker 2/60th Foot.
John Walker from Sandbach, Chester. enlisted 3rd September 1857
Promoted Corporal March 1858 and Sergeant May 1860he was subsequently tried by court marshall for Disobedience and reduced to Private, and 2 months imprisonment.
Whilst the regiment qualified for the clasp Kandahar he was not present as he was in hospital at the time, being then discharged in June 1880.
