His QSA and clasps are confirmed on the medal roll, which shows his service no as 7757, and that he was serving in the 4th Battalion Rifle Brigade. However there is a second Q.S.A. roll which shows his service no as 7753, but does not indicate any clasps entitlement.
His MIC confirms he landed in France on the 2nd April 1915, and confirms he received a 1914-15 trio.
The medal rolls for his WW1 service show he served in both the 1st and 4th battalions Rifle Brigade.
