His service papers confirm Georgw Livesey was born in 1884 and served from the 21st February 1917 in the R.F.C. He served in France from the 19th July 1917 to the 18th June 1919 and is only entitled to a pair.

He was discharged on the 30th April 1920.

In civilian life he was a manager for Anglo American Oil company, and in the Lancashire Evening post on the 18th January 1947 is recorded as having worked for them for 50 years, and gave his address as Castleway, Eccles. It records that he was made circuit manager at Blackburn in 1916, but joined the R.F.C. the following year serving in France and with the Army of Occupation in Germany until July 1919..
