Adam Lamb was born in Whitby Yorkshire in 1831, enlisting on the 22nd June 1854 aged 23.
severely wounded at the storming of Delhi, 14 September 1857. (His service papers also confirm wounded in the storming, a severe gunshot wound to the back)
18 time in the regimental defaulters list and three times tried by court martial.
Discharged 27th April 1876
Condition – VF, initial officially corrected, suspension post re-pinned and reverse of clasp carriage flattened, some edge bruising to disc, naming un affected.
