Masonic Hospital Medal/Jewel, with rare bar “Grand Patron” (named – army officer)
Medal given to those who supported the construction of the Masonic Hospital. Awarded with or without various clasps, according to scale of donation/ support.
The clasp “Grand Patron” is the highest grade and is rare.
Engraved on reverse in usual fashion:

Basic research shows that D.R. Pudney served as an army officer from c. 1947 to c. 1971 and ended as a Lieut. Col. in the RAOC.
