Rolls states served from 23rd Jany. 1864 to 12th March 1866. Discharged 18th April 1868.
With copied roll and service papers – these state that he was a labourer from Bolton, enlisting on 2nd Feb. 1858 and serving from 23rd Feb. 1858 to 11th April 1868 when discharged in Winchester. Intended residence = Bolton.
Condition – About GVF and better but with a couple of very small edge knocks, not detracting from medal.
