Copied WW1 papers – “C” Company, SA Veteran Reserve, proceeding on active service with Southern Force, April 1915 – served in German South West Africa campaign. Seems to have ended service in Jan. 1916.
He died in Kimberley in 1947, aged 86 – photo of gravestone in Kimberley Cem. West included.
