With – Silver War badge (lacking pin)

Edwards served in 28th Battery, Royal Field Artillery, and likely served during the V.C. action at Moedwil on 30 September, 1901.

A note with the medals (presumably from service papers) states born in Marylebone and enlisted into RFA in 1897, a painter by trade, aged 20/6.

Discharged by payment of £18 in Nov. 1902.

During WW1, enlisted in June 1917 into Army Ordnance Corps but discharged in October as unfit for war service – SWB only.
