Correct on rolls, which note discharged as time expired.
QSA rolls (2nd Scots. R.) show that he also served in the 4th Coy, 23rd Mounted Infantry and also entitled to Cape Colony clasp – presumably negated by award of Natal clasp (those two could not be awarded together).
Almost NEF, with only a few very light marks.
