British War and Victory Medals, T.Z. 8349 W. Varley. A.B. R.N.V.R.
William Varley was born 18th September 1889, from Bradford,he had previously served in the Army Service Corps Territorial (No overseas Service), he served as an A.B. from 9th November 1915, serving in Hawke and Nelson Battalions of the Noyal Navy Division.
He was Wounded on the 23rd April 1917 (Shrapnel wound to leg)
With details of his movements between November 1915 and September 1919.
Condition – NVF, surface scratches and some edge nicks.
