Henry Arthur Mahoney was born in July 1913 in Newton Abbot.
He is listed as missing on the 4th June 1940 whilst serving in the British Expeditionary Force in France as part of 1.L. of Signals (Line of communication signal company) There are several other men of this unit who are also listed as missing on the same date.
He is later listed as no longer missing, therefore must have eventually caught up with his unit in England after the evacuation of Dunkirk.
He died in 1986
