Victory medal, 30516. 1.A.M. A.W. Briddle. R.A.F.
Albert William Briddle was born in March 1883 Initially serving in the Royal Flying corps from from the 8th June 1916 eventually transferring into the Royal Air Force.
He served in 62 Squadron, transferring to 25th Squadron on 15th April 1919. He served in France from the 31st January 1918 to the 11th May 1919.
He was married to Ellen and lived in Handsworth.
He wad finally discharged on the 30th April 1920.
We have found that he died in London in January 1961 (Living in Marylebone.)
We have found a man of this naming who was living in Canada in 1911, although we are not sure it is the same person.
Condition – NVF some edge nicks and bruising.
