William King was born in July 1881 in Ewerton, Somerset, and enlisted on the 21st December 1898
He served at home to 7th June 1900, South Africa to 12th March 1902, home to 21st July 1902, South Africa to 2nd November 1912, India to 15th January 1909, home to 10th September 1914, B.E.F. France to 15th December 1915, home to 20th December 1915.
His MIC confirms he landed in France on the 11th September 1914
Discharged 20th December 1915.
