Pte W.F. McCaig served in the Kings Shropshire Light Infantry, and 1st battalion Hereford Regiment.
He was the son of William and Christina McCaig of Hawking Street, Kensington, Liverpool
He died on the 4th October 1918 and is commemorated at the Hooge Crater Cemetery.
His MIC shows entitlement to a pair
Pte William James McCaig served in the 1/5th battalion Liverpool Regiment..
His MIC shows entitlement to a 1914-15 trio and a Silver War Badge.
He landed in France on the 21st February 1915
