First World War trio to A Rushbrook:
Augustus Rushbrooke was born in Stowmarket, Suffolk in 1887 and enlisted on the 29th May 1905 into the Royal Artillery, and served in 135th Battery Royal Field Artillery. Later served in 15th Battery 36th Brigade R.F.A. as a Gunner, from August 1914 to June 1918.
His Discharge certificate notes he was in receipt of one wound stripe, and his entitlement to the 1914 trio.
A Rushbrook is confirmed as entering a theatre of war on the 16th August 1914
