India General Service 1854, clasp Waziristan 1894-95, 3592 Pte J.G. Buchanan 2nd Border Regt
The medal roll has a man of the same regimental number for this medal but with the name Charles Robertson. However there is a man again with this regimental number and named J G Buchanan also in the Border Regiment on the QSA medal roll.
We have been unable to find service papers for either name, but suspect that he has either changed his name or had enlisted under an alias.
Condition – Whilst the rim is a consistent width we believe that his name has been re-engraved. Otherwise VF
