Correct on the medal rolls for both clasps.
The 53rd (Shropshire) Regiment of Foot fought in key battles during the Indian Mutiny (1857-1858), including the Relief and capture of Lucknow and the Battle of Cawnpore. the storming the Secundra Bagh during the Relief of Lucknow, for which, Alfred Kirke Ffrench, earned the Victoria Cross.
Condition – NVF, a little polished and edge bruise at approx 7-00 on obverse, naming not badly affected.
