Punjab 1848-59, clasp, Goojerat, John Wares, 53rd Foot.
John Wares is recorded as having died on the 5th July 1849. We have not found any details of why he died 5 months after Goojerat, but most likely from disease.
Condition – GVF, some contact wear, and minor edge nicks.
