John Braham was born in Liverpool in 1874.
He enlisted on the 27th April 1892, serving at home to 5th June 1893, Halifax Nova Scotia to 6th December 1895, Barbados to 6th November 1897, South Africa to 25th May 1900, home to 28th February 1902.
This medal and single clasp are confirmed on the medal roll, that also states Invalided 17th August 1900.
His papers state discharged as having been found medically unfit for further service.
Condition – GVF, slight edge bruise
