This group was sold as part of a collection of medals awarded to the Dumbreck family in 2025.
Major David Surtees Dumbreck was the son of Sutherland Campbell Dumbreck and was born in 1927
He was a war substantive Lieut on 19th June 1943, Hon Captain 30th January 1951
He died on the 23rd March 2011, and is buried in Littleham, East Devon.
